Celebrate Día de Muertos at Papalote Children's Museum

Papalote Children's Museum presents the altar '¿Del futuro?' celebrating life and traditions with a 30% discount for attendees in costumes during the Día de Muertos festivities. Join us from October 31 to November 2 for vibrant activities!

In the framework of the Day of the Dead, Papalote Children's Museum, in collaboration with Pictoline, presents the altar "From the Future?", an experience aimed at celebrating life and traditions through fun and playful activities. To encourage participation, a 30% discount on admission will be offered to those who come dressed up during the festivities.

The proposal invites everyone to reflect on life, pay tribute to their ancestors, and enjoy this unique experience. Through this vibrant celebration, the little ones have the opportunity to connect with their history, strengthen family bonds, and explore their creativity.

The Papalote Children's Museum, backed by Doña María, is ready to welcome visitors of all ages, with the altar "From the Future?" as the central attraction. This monumental installation, created in collaboration with Pictoline, aims to raise awareness about the eight Mexican species endangered, such as the vaquita marina, the axolotl, and the monarch butterfly.

The altar also reflects the invaluable work of craftsmen in papier-mâché, who use traditional techniques and the vision of the indigenous peoples in its creation. This event will take place from October 31 to November 2, coinciding with "Day of the Dead – Fest".

Resonating with the rich Mexican culture, the Day of the Dead combines indigenous traditions with colonial influences. The altar will be open to the public from October 25 to November 18 in the main courtyard of the museum, with free admission. Additionally, Papalote has designed a series of special activities for families to enjoy during this period, including movie screenings, storytelling sessions, craft workshops, and a costume parade.
